Should I have 52.6.0 ESR and 58.0 both on my computer?

I always check to see which version of Firefox I am using after updates. I noticed both of these in my system. I want to make sure if one or both are supposed to be there. If not, which one is safe to uninstall?

You should keep Firefox 58, and uninstall 52.0.6 ESR.

You can and should uninstall ESR. It is safe to do this. You don't need ESR unless you for whatever reason, need an older version of Firefox.

It's far simpler to stick with one version. If you do want to run both of those versions of Firefox, there is a lot of extra setup required to avoid having them corrupt your settings (they can't share nicely because of all the file format changes).

Thanks for your responses, but I'm still confused. I currently have both on my computer...don't know how I got them, but need to know which I should have and which is ok to uninstall, if any.
