textarea preholder bug

I try many way to fix this trouble:


1. CSS: textarea#question-textarea-promo::placeholder { 

  white-space:pre-line;
 /*  color:red;*/
  }                                   - The color:red works, white-space - don't

2. CSS: textarea#question-textarea-promo::-moz-placeholder { 

  white-space:pre-line;
  }                                              - don`t work

3. <textarea style ="white-space:pre-line"> - don`t work, of course

W3C.org (World Wide Web Consortium) make the rules for web code including the standards and practices and future development of Web Pages and Web Browsers. Please run your code through these as Firefox looks at code a little stricter Other browsers should not be displaying errors. CSS 102 Errors, Not so easy to fix.
