I tried your tips but didn't find any add-ons or extensions to delete. However, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Then the Internet Speed Radar disappeared. Thanks for your help.

Where does Internet Speed Radar show up? For example:

  • Appears at startup
  • Appears each time you click the Home button (see: How to set the home page)
  • Appears each time you open a new tab
  • Appears from time to time
  • Something else...

Could you check your home page address on the Options/Preferences page to see whether you can fix it there:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

Check the Startup section for the home page address and see whether you can restore what you want.

If not, one possible culprit would be an extension. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any system extensions that Firefox installs on its own are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything suspicious? If in doubt, disable.

Any improvement?
