twitch and forum.rocketbeans.tv don't work at all

I suddenly have problems with firefox, I never had before. Do I have to install special addons to access websites like twitch or facebook ( I didn't mention it at first, noticed it this evening ) or forum.rocketbeans.tv - Firefox Quantum has problems, is it too much to ask for the developers to maintain the quality of an earlier version ? I will switch to srware iron ( browser that excludes the spy functionality of chrome ) as long as firefox has these child illnesses.
Firefox kept me happy for a long time, let's hope the developers don't screw up.
Pkshadow, the OP was referring to the https://www.twitch.tv/ site.
twitch.tv uses a HTML5 player by default since Sept 2016. However in the Gear icon and Advance you can turn off HTML5 to get Flash Player for a while now.
If your system can fully use HTML5 player then all checks should be blue at https://www.youtube.com/html5/
You useragent appears as blank ? according to your more system details on right of post. If this is the case then it may confuse some sites on what to serve.
If you have a N or KN version of Windows then that could be another reason for not fully using the HTML5 player. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows
twitch.tv as well as all the other sites I have cited appear blank. Only a fragment of the design appears, a bar at the top, or a enclosing pattern.
Type about:support in the address bar and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Now in the Reply Box on the forum page, do a right-click in the box and select Paste.
