Prevent Windows explorer from showing new window for each tab
I often browser with 2 firefox windows open.
One for web development, and one for just browsing the internet. This used to work very well as all my open tabs would stay conveniently packaged in these 2 windows. However since the latest firefox update the windows explorer now shows a new "window" for each tab. Even though all the tabs are really on one window.
You can see the problem detailed in the screenshot I attached to this message. Is there anyway to revert this to firefox's old behavior? When only new windows would be a new "window" in the windows explorer?
Thank you for your help!

Could you check this setting on the Options/Preferences page:
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
Scroll down just a bit to the Tabs section and make sure this box is not checked: "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar"
(If it is unchecked, check and uncheck it again just to make sure the UI and internal setting match.)
Does that fix it?

Brilliant! That fixed the problem. Thank you so much, yes the "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" was checked, unchecking it solved it.
Thank you!
