The homepage does not automatically start my cursor in the search engine in the middle, instead its at the url location, I dont like that at all and my tool bar is all backwards now and to be honest, its just ugly. you put a bunch of junk on the page instead of the mozilla logo that i had to disable. i just want the old homepage back

Hi, goto about:config and double click on these booleans:

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.aboutHome.enabled browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled

to set them to false, this will restore your old new tab & home pages.

Thank you for helping me, I did get the firefox symbol back, but, my cursor still does not automatically go to the search in the middle of the page, it still goes to the url location bar

Hi, you can use the URL bar to perform searches the same way. If this solved your issue, mark as solution!

Yes, agreed. I have a specific homepage I want to use, STOP monkeying with it. If you are going to keep this up, I will have no choice but to switch to Google Chrome.

I have my own Homepage; I don't need the firefox super-happy and helpful multiple list of web sites I might like when I do a newtab(Ctrl+T) operation, stop.

At least give me the option to set my OWN homepage.
