Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

1. Click the menu button , choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Thank you, but it didn't work. I've done this exact thing several times over the last few months to no avail.

I've added a /local and the local news comes up like normal. Only when I type in the regular site does it default back to the news of the day when I accessed the site while on vacation in August.

I've downloaded Chrome and Explorer and the website works fine on those platforms. I'm not a fan of either which is why I'm asking here.

So the hangup is in firefox. The site works fine on my other laptop.

Perhaps try in a private browsing window? Hamburger menu >> Open new Private Browsing Window? If the problem persist, use another browser like IE for just that website.

So the private window in the hamburger menu works great. So why can't I get it to work without that step?
