Google does not work on Firefox, but it does on other browsers, what do I do?

more options

When I try to go onto google in my Firefox browser, it comes up with this message; "Your connection is not secure". This also happens for Youtube. I also tried using DuckDuckGo, but I encountered the same problem. The only browser I really trust is firefox, but the actual, 'internet surfing' browser has to be google or DuckDuckGo for me. (Excuse the bad technical vocab).

Thanks!

Hi Sepanouir, when I decode that, it indicates

hello, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a solution depends on the individual circumstances:

  • what is the error code shown when you click on advanced on that error page?
  • please also give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum.

thank you!

This is an image of what happens when I go into 'Google.com', and after clicking 'Advanced'

thanks, in a second step can you please click on sec_error_unknown_issuer, copy the content of that page in text form and paste it here into a reply as well?
