Browser acts odd since I changed ISP & email address; drags & freezes.
A tech from my ISP responded to my service request for weak internet browsing. He said that their company, Spectrum/Charter has difficulty working with Mozilla Firefox but works better with Chrome. He showed me and it did. Now, I've been with Mozilla & Thunderbird for over13 years and I don't want to change my default browser, I like Mozilla. Do you have a way around this alleged problem? As always, I try to solve any problem myself, but if I can't I appreciate the gift of your support. Thank you.
Chosen solution
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?

What do you mean when you say; weak internet browsing ?
Is the net slow, can't connect, bad connect . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It acts like too many NoScripts are not allowed. Mozilla Home Page (Fox News) takes a long time to load. Mostly, it prevents me from accessing my usual sites. But also it stalls, freezes or just has a blank window even though the browser shows it stopped loading & all Scripts are allowed, though I've never done that before. I use Avast Inet Security & Malwarebytes. My main concern is that I won't be able to use Mozilla & I absolutely hate Explorer & not real happy with Chrome except it's speed, so far. I've been spoiled.
