My Firefox email was messed up by activating Chrome
Hi, I started taking a web design class and Chrome was recommended — must I use Chrome as the browser? I think Chrome yanked my account info out of Gmail and away from Firefox. I was able to revive Firefox email, however getting to it is peculiar. Also, in an effort to fix this, I may have messed up some "Certificate" information. Thank you so much for your help. If using Chrome, will I be able to continue using Firefox? Thank you so much for you help.

Firefox is a web browser and not a email client or a a email service. Mozilla the company that makes Firefox does not provide any email for public use as @mozilla.org email is provided only to those who work for Mozilla in some way.
The only way you can do email such as @gmail.com in a web browser is by webmail aka web base email as Gmail.com is the webmail.
The Firefox and Google Chrome are separate web browsers as they are not integrated in any way whether on Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux.

James, thank you very much for this clarification.
I am studying basic HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver using w3schools.com and Sublime Text 2. In class we use Chrome or Safari to read and display html documents. Instead, can I use Firefox to do this?
