Why can't you see full history on both Firefox/Firefox beta app. Just curious? ;)

The title tells the question itself. But ever since I started to use the android app, I have always wondered about why you can't see the full history, but only the recent one. I understand it can be a huge mess and make the app very slow (or maybe the phone too), but isn't there a way to access it with another app or at a place in the same app. This wouldn't be a problem would it?

I think that you are right when you mention the capacity issue. Whilst some mobile devices have considerable space, being able to balance this with the need to make sure that Firefox for Android still performs as expected may have led to a need to curtail the history that is stored.

I think that would be a big improvement for the app on android/iPhone. As I mentioned previously in the question text, it doesn't need to be in the app. I think creating an own history app would be a clever idea. Maybe most people doesn't care about it, but it would definitely make the users most satisfied. :)
