I'm new to Mac. I installed Firefox running on an iMac 27" with 10.12.1 update. Everything works great. Until I reboot. Then firefox isn't there, and there's a ? on my Launcher where the Firefox Icon used to be.

I can't figure out why it keeps getting removed on reboot. Help!

I love Firefox for my use and as a developer. But having to re-install after every reboot is getting old.

(Sorry. This question is posted from Safari. Firefox uninstalled again.)

Hello bubbawny.

The question mark on an item in the dock means that the original item/app can't exist because it is removed or deleted. Probably you run the app from dmg file. You must copy firefox to Applications folder.

please see, specially the step 3 : How to download and install Firefox on Mac.

Thank you. That did it. (I had double-clicked on the FF icon to run, and didn't know you had to drag it on top of the apps folder.
