A large poster appeared on my desktop. Can't get rid of it. I right-clicked on the desktop, but "Properties" doesn't come up.

I tried the suggested solution from someone who had a similar problem. I did the right click on the desk top, but properties does not come up only graphic properties and that didn't help.

Is it part of the desktop background or it is in front of your icons? If it's part of the background, it could be "wallpaper". I haven't experimented with it myself, but here's a search to get you started on removing that:
