get emails with blank pics followedf by pics.

I receive email with many pics with captions, but pics are blank, with broken pic in upper left corner. This is followed by the actual pics, but no captions. My software guy said to get email off google, and not Thunderbird, and now don't have that problem. Why getting off Google is okay, but not Thunderbird?? My web browser is Firefox, and go to my email tsailers@pacbell.net

Google email is not scanned by your anti virus program. Perhaps that is the issue.
