I just noticed recently that when I close all apps on my phone (LG G4 - Android 6), that Firefox will not close. I have tried to quit the app from its menu, but it stays running. If anyone has any ideas on what may be causing this, your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Have you tried the Quitnow add-on for Firefox for Android?

Alternatively you can set it to quit through setting Firefox for Android to clear all or part of your history in exit. You can read more about this here.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into an alternative solution.

I just uninstalled it and installed the Beta version. So far it shuts down. I won't reinstall the regular version, as it now has ads. No need for that.
