I cannot do much of anything without this browser becoming unresponsive and freezing - this is annoying to say the least - FIX it or I will be done with this and sure as hell will not recommend this browser to anyone else - as has been my habit in the past =- before it went junk

By updated version are you referring to the old Firefox 47.0.1 you are posting with or the current Firefox 48.0 Release on Aug 2nd.

Also since you have Windows 10, hopefully you do not have the recent Windows 10 Anniversary update as it has caused various issues for many people including making some applications such as Firefox not run as good.

Hi danielclouser, That must be frustrating. I would not use Firefox if it was unresponsive . If you do not like Firefox switch to an alternative.

If you like Firefox you need to understand the vast majority of others will find it works fine without problems. We can not see your computer and how Firerfox works on it but will try to help you sort out the problem if you wish.

As a start can you please have a look at the help article

Also can you give more details please. Do you see any error message, or any pattern of, or apparent cause of what is happening.
