add-on "web of trust" gets periodically disabled from firefox. how can i prevent this to happen ("could not be verified"), i like the tool

more options

i have the WOT add-on since years, and i am happy with the advice on website reputation while browsing. Somewhere last year WOT started to get disabled automatically. Message i got was that this app could not be verified. Solution is to de-install and then install again. However this is now happening like every week. Isn't there a more elegant solution available, i really get a bit pissed by mozilla a/o firefox automatically doing this. Can you guys like either verify WOT, or give an option to deliberately choose to work with unverified apps - at users own decision/risk? Cheers, Rodolfo.

Chosen solution

Do you have the version from the Add-ons site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/wot-safe-browsing-tool/

All extensions distributed through the Add-ons site should be digitally signed and pass the verification test. If that suddenly fails, the file might have been altered on disk somehow.
