How can I prevent sites from forcing themselves to full screen? I think this is in other versions.
I went to a site which forced me to go to full screen mode. While I will use full-screen on occasion, I loathe it when the website decides what my screen looks like.

Specifically, which website did that?
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Prevent_websites_from_disabling_new_window_features about:config = set all dom.disable_window = true
Is this really Full Screen mode or is the Firefox window maximized and do you still see the user interface (toolbars)?
There are other things that need attention.
The System Details List shows that you have multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800
- Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

Really full screen: nothing but the page, nothing on the margins
AFAIK, websites can't force Firefox to go into FullScreen mode. But some videos can automatically go into Fullscreen as they are loaded in Firefox, but can be easily taken out of Fullscreen via the ESCape key.
There is the Full Screen API that makes it possible for a website to switch to full screen mode via JavaScript. This would normally only happen if you click a button on the page.
