more options

I was on tractorsupply.com and got this message, You don't have permission to access "http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/legacy-variable-stroke-lever-action-grease-gun-12-in-l" on this server.Reference #18.460ad817.1458922266.da67452 , never got this until version 45.0. Why? And how do I fix it?

That message is generated by a filter protecting the server. It seems to be a service/device used by many sites. The filter may be reacting to something unusual about your connection, but in other threads involving other sites, users reported it cleared up by itself after a few hours, perhaps indicating that a range of addresses was blocked temporarily to stop an attack and it also affected innocent users.

Is there anything special about how you connect, for example, proxy server, private VPN, Tor/Hola?

In Firefox 43, changing certain Firefox connection settings was found to resolve the issue for one site, but testers reported that was no longer necessary in Firefox 44. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1109155#answer-843763

And now I've got that Kenny Chesney song stuck in my head...

More generally, if you haven't already...

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

See: How to clear the Firefox cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes. If nothing seems to happen or progress seems to stall, reload the page (Ctrl+Shift+r) to confirm that the space used on disk is going down.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button

In the dialog that opens, the site should be filled in at the top and you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?

Alright we are going to try something.

I used to have satilite internet, and I had a netgear router (Same router different internet due to movin)

Open FireFox,Follow this link : routerlogin.net/index.htm

Username and password is the router username and password commonly found on the bottom or side of the router. (Unless you changed this of course)

(I would tell you the rest but it seems I can't get logged in....You can basically check to make sure there isn't a setting off or something. )

I get the same access denied response with that link.

It is possible that this page no longer exists and that the servers sends this response by default.

If you use a bookmark then try to navigate to that page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case this bookmark is currently broken.

Maybe the website? I tried yesterday with IE and it worked, today get access denied. I even uninstalled Foxfire, rebooted, cleared all mozilla folders/files, etc. rebooted again and reloaded and got same issue. Just strange all around. Do not have any clue what it is. I will send a message to Tractorsupply tech support to see if they had others with this issue, since you had the same issue I did. Thanks for trying.
