How do I stop firefox from asking if I want to receive push notifications?

I don't remember history and upon exit my browser clears everything.

How do I remove firefox from asking if I want to receive push notifications? I have read the directions of preferences-content-choose-remove all sites, but my settings reset when I close and restart the browser.

It is quite irritating when my first click always has to be to close the box asking if I want to receive notifications when I open my browser.

You would have to keep the Site Preferences if you want to avoid getting this notification prompt.

In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history.

Would you want to disable Push notifications entirely?

You can disable Push by setting this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • dom.push.enabled = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
