Migrating sync settings to a new/work account

more options

Hey!

Long story short, I'm trying to separate my personal and work accounts. I have everything synced, but I'm trying to see if there's a way to do an export/import of sorts. I want to create a new work account with Mozilla, but at the same point I don't want to start over with my sync settings. Can I either export my sync setting and import to the new account or can I have the new account pull from the old and then be separate from there?

Any suggestions? I'm open to just about anything.

There's no "settings" in Sync.

Sync "synchronizes" data that is in Firefox with data that is in other Firefox installations on other devices. So do the data "export / import" via "backup & restore" from your Firefox installations. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles And see this to learn about the different files of importance in the Profile folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile

I trust that you are planning on using separate Firefox Profiles for your work and personal data on the involved devices.
