This cannot be done using Firefox. You will have to download a third party software to complete this operation. Sorry.

This may not really a Firefox support question if you trying to make a disk image or burn a CD but it is something Firefox users may wish to do so I will give a general answer.

Burning file to CD or DVD is something your Operating System or some third party program will need to take care of. It may be something at least some versions of Windows may not be able to do. You also need to understand whether you are trying to just copy files or recreate a CD/DVD.

If the purpose of the burn is to make copies of copyrighted or protected material we probably should not be discussing that here.

You are asking specifically about an .exe file Those are executable files in Windows and need not be on bootable media. You should be able to drag and drop such a file, and most such files would run directly from a CD.
