In the last day Firefox 44 is no longer able to load any sites. With every page I try to load the title in tab changes to "Connecting..." and the status at the bottom of the window also remains stuck on "Looking up google.com". I recall that in the last few days Java was updated as well

I've performed a reset, but the problem continues, while Chrome works perfectly.

Nearly forgot. I also tried running FIrefox in safe mode prior to performing the reset, but the same issue occurred.

And my anti-virus is also MS Security Essentials.
