I can't do online banking because I get a message, repeatedly, that Fireforx has blocked the page from reloading. How do I turn this off?

I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows 10 64-bit. I have Firefox Version 42.0. I just got this laptop and so far it has been a real PIA to get everything working. I certainly didn't expect Firefox to add to the aggravation.

How can I get this fixed? And the sooner the better as I have bills to pay. Thanks for any help you can give.

See:

  • Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I unchecked the box indicated in the articles you referenced. Every time that message displayed, the screen I was on froze, and would sometimes kick me completely out of the session and I'd have to wait 15 minutes to log back in. I was able to pay my bills after making the change. Thank you for your prompt response. This can be marked as solved.
