I'm changeing my aparance on the browers, but when i chace default background coulor allmost all imiges on ALL websites are invisible or "overlayered". HELP!
i would really like the have an ongoing chat or a skype call to solve this problem because there is other things related to this, such as font size, reversed coulers etc.
Special note:this is the firt time ive used mozzilla support and it is the best ive ever experienced in my life

It is best to avoid disabling the website colors.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : "Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above"
Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.
Note that this setting affects background images.
You can look at the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.
I think there has been an miss understanding.
I want: A diffrent color on background on all pages facebook, reddit etc.
My problem: Almost ALL imiges dissapear
(i tried what you said and either "never" or "only with high contrast" makes any diffence to the background)

You only see background images then you allow pages to choose the colors. You would have to use other means via an extension like NoSquint or via CSS rules in Stylish or userContent.css to make such changes to the appearance.
1. ive got "nosquint" and will try to understand it.
2. if as in my case i want a dark bakground and white text. therere is a hugh problem with some words getting the oposite coulor
I have got nosquint now and when i try to use a difret backgroud colour i can see imiges when i hover over them.
and on this page for example the chat wondows are the same colour and the bakground
