I saw some advice for preparing for Windows 10 that would keep the apps and options added to Firefox as well as the privacy settings and I need a copy of it.
Just when Windows 10 was being offered for the free install, when I opened Firefox browser there was an article on how to migrate to Windows 10 but ensure you maintain your set-up as is. I was in a hurry that day and didn't print it out or save it. I would like it now so I can make the change but ensure that all the apps and options etc. I've set up from/for Firefox don't disappear.
(As you can tell, I'm not terribly computer-savvy.)

Hello Xinavane, I am not sure about any browser specific requirements to be followed before upgrading to Windows 10 but you can always take a backup of your Firefox Profile for in case anything goes wrong you can always restore it.
1)On your keyboard press Windows Key + R which should bring up the RUN Window, type into it %appdata%.

2) You should be in the Application Data folder, search for folder named Mozilla. Navigate to Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles you should now be seeing a folder ending with .default. Copy that folder,if possible to a different drive partition other than the one on which the Windows is installed.
