Plugin check says WacomTabletPlugin needs update when it is connected, but the plugin needed is unrelated

When I load my home page, http://www.phylo.org there is a flash plugin that runs. When my Wacom tablet is connected, I am prompted to update the wacom dynamic link library. When I click update, the plugin disappears (I mean it is not displayed in the web site, and there is no error message, just a blank space). When the Wacom tablet is is disconnected, the plugin runs normally. I wonder what the conflict is, and how to resolve it. I can just unplug the tablet evey time I start FF, but that seems inelegant.

Is this problem with a plugin check on that site, or Mozilla's plugin checker (https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/)?

As far as I know. Mozilla's plugin checker site doesn't have data for that particular plugin, so you would always get an indication that you need to research it...

I suppose I should also mention that it's not a bad idea to check with Wacom for updates related to your tablet if you haven't done so within the past year. I mean by visiting their website or using their software instead of trying to update through the Flash application on the web page.

Thanks jscher2000 for your thoughts. I am afraid I did not describe my problem very accurately; it seems FF was looking for a plugin to play the flash content; and for some reason it thought it should seek it from a Wacom dll library when the tablet was attached. This wasn't working

I solved the problem (so far) by uninstalling FF and the tablet driver; then reinstalling FF, adding a new flash plugin and a new Wacom tablet driver. Everything seems happy now.
