Firefox has to be removed from my computer every time I need to contact FreeBMD. I then have to reload Internet Exlorer before I can continue. Firefox is then re installed so I can continue with other work that is incompatable with Internet Explorer. Sure there must be a way round this, and it appears that all those transcribing from the Northern Hemisphere are having the same or similar issues. Any chance you an sort this and re-set to 2 weeks ago , or tweek the upgrade to allow access, pleasd:):):).

I have both IE and Firefox. These messages sound strange to me.

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.

Note: Windows users must download the “Internet Explorer” and “Plugin-based browsers” installers.

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.

Why do you need to remove Firefox? Are you getting a message?

Do Not remove Win IE. It is a part of Windows and removal can cause problems.

Please provide public links we can check out.

Thanks for your quick response. Please understand that when I am attempting to download data from FreeBMD I do allow access to Firefox. All other of the areas of the requested site work well and access is as it should be.

I don't think the fact that I use XP is a problem, maybe old and unsupported now , but it is stable. I have been informed by my co-ordinator in NZ that others are having the same probem as me and this has only occured over the last 2 weeks.

I don't get a message to remove Firefox , but with it still on my computer I cannot download with ie. Then I have to re-load as other sites won't load correctly with ie but love firefox. Hope this can get sorted soon, either that or mail me the old drivers, then I can send them to NZ and they can be shared amongst those in my position, problem solved . Wish it was that easy:)

Take care Dx
