I've refreshed Firefox almost daily and still have excessive popups and redirects.

I continue to get redirected to multiple trash websites when I click on a search, lots of popups, and a green circle with an arrow all over the web pages. I've refreshed and reinstalled Firefox and am trying it almost daily. All blockers and firewalls are up. I've tried everything on the support page and uninstalled any unwanted software.

Hi, sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Download a Pop-Up Blocking Extension Click the Firefox button on the top left and click Add-ons. Search for an ad-blocking add-on, such as Adblock Plus. It does a great job of removing the annoyances from your Web browsing, and it comes with absolutely no configuration needed to begin working.
