How do I undo the"always save pdf" and return to "open pdf"

I clicked the box to have Mozilla always save an adobe pdf rather than ask me each time - is there a way to get back to the asking if I just want to open it and not always save it?

hello, you can set the default action for how pdfs should be handled when you go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > applications section & scroll down and edit the entry for the portable document format (pdf).

Did you check the Portable Document Format (PDF) setting in "Options > Applications"?

That is what I thought - however my application list is blank! Any ideas how I fix that?

Try to rename (or delete) the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.
