Firefox 39 and now 40 systematically refuse to launch, and display Crash Reporter. Even in Safemode attempt from Terminal. All extensions at launch have been deactivated. Unnecessary preferences also. Installation check with ClamXav but no malware found. Disk cleaned up with OnyX. Latest Mac OS installed (checked with Updates). No other apps need updating. Now sending you most recent crash log in attached file. This is occuring on our main IMac machine: severe disruption to work. Hope you can help. Regards, Martin Ransom Not sure how/where the .txt file (bp-5a585924-504a-4120-a1eb-a89492150813.txt) has been sent. Please advise. Thanks

hi, thanks for posting with your crash report id. this is a crash that seems to be caused by trusteer rapport. please see if there's an update available for that program or else keep it stopped/uninstalled for the moment.
