Firefox sync stopped working between my Mac and PC using the iCloud bookmarks addon.
This happened after I replaced my old iPhone with a new one.
I updated to the new sync to no avail on both Mac and PC Firefox.

Firefox Sync doesn't use iCloud, and there isn't a version of Firefox available for the iPhone currently.
Keeping that in mind, please explain your issue with Firefox or Sync further.
No, but somehow I think the old Firefox sync still thinks it's in use so it's stopping the new Firefox sync from working between my Mac and PC. Is there a way to make sure the old Firefox sync is deactivated?
Firefox 29 and later won't connect to the older Sync service servers. When a Sync account was upgraded from the old service to the new Sync service the account access "key" was updated making it incompatible with the old Sync service. Can't connect to the old service - it wouldn't be recognized.
And if you didn't "upgrade" the old Sync to the new Sync, but rather you created a new Sync account, the old Sync access information for the old Sync would have been overwritten or replaced by the new "key".
Overall, don't use Sync along with a similar "sync" service. We have seen too many problems and support issues here when users have done that.
Can someone provide some advice on how to get my Mac and PC syncing again?
Cheers!
BTW this is for the ESR 31.8.0 version on Mac and PC.
So I've disabled and removed the iCloud bookmark sync addon, and I still can't sync between my Mac and PC. Any other suggestions?
