Bold fonts problems in all browsers including firefox....
Hi!
I have issue about the fonts.The fonts are bold and italic in several websites.All browser are infected from this problem.I already tried everything i can do. I also used many methods that are given on Google but none of them solve my problem that's why i am here for help. Hope i will find anyone who will solve my problem.
My operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro (Latest Firefox version 39.0)
Methods that i already used: 1: Reset Firefox to default. 2: Disable Hardware acceleration. 3: Settings > Content > Advanced: Minimum font size: [none] 4: Reset Windows fonts. 5: Replace all windows fonts. 6: Repair registry. 7: Removed cache etc. 8: Checked [Let me chose one scaling levels for all my displays]
Unfortunately all the methods are failed.Help...

Try reinstalling Arial.
Close Firefox, install it and you should be all set. No restart required or anything. Enjoy!

Unfortunately it did not work!
You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) with this element selected. You can check what font is used for selected text in the Font tab in the right pane of the Inspector.
The following fonts are used: Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif

There are all the default fonts on windows machine.
What font does it show on the Font tab, assuming that what you posted is the font-family property for the text element?
You can try to remove the Helvetica fonts (temporarily) to see if that has effect.
Thanks cor-el! It actually worked. I just delete all types of Helvetica Neue Fonts from my system and it fixed it.
