I've tried the.css file solution. The .css solution showed a blank line between the "@namespace" text first line, I tried it with no blank line, with a blank line and even on the same line to no avail, restarting after each option. (I had to add the whole chrome folder) I tried the about:config solution.I even tried deleting the lang string and then put it back I changed each option back before trying the next one. There is not or have I ever seen a button anywhere for this, even in the customize window choices. The only thing I can see is the "Bookmarks" menu item that upon right clicking I get 5 choices, 1) open in all tabs 2) new bookmark 3) new folder 4) new separator 5) paste

I would like to figure this out.

thanks, michael

My a:c values had already been set back to default and it took you explaining exactly where it was located before I noticed it. Somewhere I had seen an inverted "v" or possibly an upright "v" but the button on my navigation bar was a clear upright rectangle with no icon. As soon as I sent it to the palette it removed the B/M menu listing and the values were changed in the a/c. It's a shame I didn't pick up on the button earlier instead of wasting resources.

thank you

Try disabling that theme and see what happens.

If you have set browser.pocket.enabled to false on the about:config page then you will have to undo this and set the pref to true to make the Pocket button reappear. Make sure that the Pocket button is positioned on the Navigation Toolbar or in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list.

You can right-click the Pocket button (Save to Pocket) and click "Remove from Toolbar" or "Remove from Menu" to disable Pocket and move the Pocket button to the Customize palette. That will remove the "View Pocket List" entries in the Bookmarks menu. This only works if browser.pocket.enabled = true

When you have moved the Pocket button to the Customize palette then you can possibly disable Pocket and modify these prefs and close and restart Firefox.

  • browser.pocket.enabled = false
  • browser.pocket.api (clear value)
  • browser.pocket.site (clear value)
