How long do I have to keep "Old firefox data" file on my desktop? May I safely delete it?

I refreshed Firefox over a month ago and just updated Firefox today (April 21) to Firefox 37. I have an old laptop: IBM ThinkPad. I have Dial-Up and Firefox is very slow to open. Thank you very much for your help. I appreciate it.

As to the Old Firefox folder on your desktop, it is there in case you want to retrieve something. You can remove it, or move it into the Profiles folder with the other profiles.
