Hi, Because I can't view all of the content of the Preferences windows, it is not possible anymore to adjust Firefox to all my personal preferences. The windows just stay too short, thereby much of the content is covered. I have no idea when the issue started. Disabling all add-ons and restarting Firefox didn't make any difference. Any suggestions?

This could be an issue with the theme that you use.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Hello there,

Have you got the latest version of Firefox installed?

Also, i would suggest refreshing Firefox as this feature fixes most of the issues. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Hope this helps!

It was indeed the theme I used which caused the problem. I finally solved it by installing an add-on called about:config. After installing it I looked for browser.preferences.inContent and changed it to true (by dubble clicking). This was a tip I got from the developer of the theme I use (Walnut) and it worked perfectly!
