Downloaded and installed FF 36.0.3 but there are no release notes so is this a legit install???

So I did the latest FF upgrade (36.0.3) when notified. Then I went to take a look at the release notes in 

   https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases/

for 36.0.3 but there are none. So was this a legitimate release without documentation or did I just get snookered into installing rogue software?

hi Jeff Barry, yes this is a legitimate update - the yearly pwn2own conference has just ended and firefox 36.0.3 is happening to fix the fallout from that. i guess the priorities were bringing the security fixes to users as quickly as possible instead of having the release notes fully in place first (they will follow soon no doubt).

The Pwn2Own thing was one of the fixes for 36.0.3 Release.

I believe the 36.0.2 version number was skipped on desktop in this case because there was a 36.0.2 Release for Android Firefox.

However in this day and age of malware it is important to dot the "i"s and cross the "t"s so that we have nothing there which looks suspicious.

Remember, it ain't paranoia if they really are out to get you. And they are.
