How do I "UNLINK" my 4 Firefox windows?

more options

I want to be able to have a spreadsheet window & my TBird window, in the middle of the 4 Firefox windows.

I think I remember checking a box a while back, to open & keep all the Firefox sessions "TOGETHER" (next to each other on the top title bar).

Prior to that I believe I was able to move them around, and split up the group of 4 windows. (Each window has 9 multiple tab groups already).

CAN'T find that switch. Looked all over in: Firefox 36.0.1 Classic Theme Restorer Colorful Tabs

Help! , Thanks!

We can use a screenshot for specific help.

In the attached screenshot, at the very top are:

3 Misc windows, on the left. 4 Firefox windows come next. 2 Spreadsheet windows come last.

The 4 Firefox windows ALWAYS have to be adjacent to each other. Seems like I used to be able to have them in non-adjacent positions. Seems like there used to be a check box, in options, to control this.

Thanks.

Oh, that very top bar is the Windows Task Bar. If you right-click a blank area of it and choose Properties, or right-click the start button, choose Properties, and change to the Taskbar tab, does the "Taskbar Buttons" setting relate to what you want to do?

Edit: fixed a part I got backwards...

No, the taskbar button settings are not related to this, but you may be on to something. It may have been a windows function, not a Firefox function. (but I dont think so).

I may be wrong, but I am certain, that I used to be able to "Slide" a spreadsheet window, into the middle of the Firefox windows.

Right now, when I slide anything on the top row, all related windows move together, and even if there is only one spreadsheet window (not 2 as shown), it cannot be inserted "between" Firefox windows.

Could be either windows, or Firefox. I'll try some more searching in windows....... that does make sense.

Thanks
