yea,I think your right, nothing can be don. It shows up once in awhile on my myway start page(news) and if I go to the source page for news, it shows there also. No biggie, thank you for all your help.

View > Character Encoding > is set to ?
Please also make sure that there are no proxies, or antiviruses that might be adding characters to the webpage.
Does this also happen when you reload the page?
Same when reload and the view suggestion made no dif,anti-virus is ok,proxie is ok.I have no big problem but it does drive me batty.
You need to make sure that Unicode is selected.
- Firefox > Web Developer > Character Encoding
- View > Character Encoding
If that still doesn't work then it is possible that the text was copied from a page in Unicode to a document in ANSI (Western or Windows) encoding and in that case there is nothing to do about it.
