Firefox won't complete download after uninstall.

I completely uninstalled firefox because it was having some minor issues (don't remember in specific sorry). And when i try to reinstall it the download never completes? It's still responding as well and the max i've waited for it to complete is about 2-3 days tops. I've downloaded a few full uninstall programs to see if leftover files may be causing the problem, but none the less it still doesn't complete. I'm using windows 8 if that helps any. Got any solutions?

Try using the full off-line installer package from here: https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

In the future, before you remove Any program, download the new full installer and save it.
