I see Chinese characters overlaying the text on tabs when I am logged into some financial institutions. What does that mean? Thanks

I am concerned these characters suggest that the browser's secure connection has been breached. I do not see these when I use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. I am aware there was a security concern with https connections that is supposed to have been resolved. I have updated my FireFox browser to the latest version, but the characters still continue to display when I am logged into one particular financial institution. That is the only time they appear. Any ideas?

Thanks,

hello cpfitch, other affected users tied this same issue to the mcafee site advisor extension - please try to disable or remove that in case you have it present.
