Firefox won't automatically open files even when "Do this automatically for files like this" box is checked

I checked the "Do this automatically" box a long time ago for Word document files (and other file types), but Firefox always shows this dialog asking what I want to do with the file.
How can I fix this?

Sometimes the web site sends the wrong information about a file.
InlineDisposition 2 {web link} InlineDisposition 2 changes the disposition of Content-Disposition response headers from attachment to inline.
