Hi there. I set up my yahoo mail in my firefox os phone as instructed with the pop3 setting but no mail messages load. It just hangs for ages. I successfully got my gmail account working though

I understand that you are having issues downloading messages from your Yahoo! Mail account into the Mail application in your Firefox OS device.

This is likely an issue with the configuration of your Yahoo! Mail account, or the settings configured in your Mail application.

  1. Please ensure that POP access is activated in your Yahoo! Mail account by following these instructions.
  2. Ensure that the port and server configurations in the Mail application are set correctly according to Yahoo's information page.
  3. Lastly, you may also attempt to configure access to your Yahoo! Mail account via IMAP by following these configuration settings.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. pop3 didnt work so I did the imap version instad and it's worked now.
