In Firefox 33, the thumbnails on the new tab are huge. i want to see 9 but i only see 3. How can I change the size of the thumbnails to restore the way they llok like in earlier Firefox versions?

thanks jscher for telling me this... works but... i spent four days wondering what was wrong - mad about it cause all of a sudden without clicking on anything they were big and there were only three it said it was modified right then and i didn't do anything

found out just today that's when firefox installed the latest version, right at that moment, without me knowing cause it was set up to do it automatically....

not anymore!

The new tab page in Firefox 33 seems more sensitive to your default zoom level. If you hold down the Ctrl key and tap the - key a few times, does it return to "normal" size?

It works for the case only when I open a new window, but doesn't remember it for any new tab I open later.
