Popups are enabled but when I hit any command "browse" on a webpage (which should open my pc explorer) nothing happens

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

What do you mean; I hit any command "browse" Are you talking about new tab / window?

Can you give an example, what web page, what link . . . . .

Any webpage where there's a "browse" button (or whatever they call it) enabling it to browse your local pc file explorer (to upload something, for instance). I thought nothing happened because of the popup blocker, but even enabling it for the page in question doesn't change things.
