Same question that's been posed to you many times before...why am I unable to close multiple tabs simultaneously? I have no PC, only an Android smart phone and I've given up trying to facilitate thus function. It seems so trivial and yet it's so damned annoying. Is this an option that can only be implemented with a PC as opposed to a phone? Please let me know. Otherwise I'll go back to Chrome, Dolphin, Opera or any of the many others that permit this seemingly simple function. Thank you.

You can slide the tabs off the tabs tray. This closes tabs fairly quickly. In an upcoming version of Firefox we have added an option to close all tabs. I believe this is in Fx 34, I don't have a phone in front of me at this moment.
