Since today, Firefox always asked me "you have chosen the file 'preload'" would you like to save this file?
Hey guys,
I'm using Firefox 32.0 on a Ubuntu 14.04 64bit machine. Today it has shown a strange and annoying behavior. On every startup I get a dialog box which asks me:
[Opening preload] You have chosen to open preload which is BIN file (2.2MB) from http://centrexity.com Would you like to save this file? [Cancel] [Save File]
Unfortunately I ve no idea, why this happens and how to avoid it. As far as I know I haven't changed anything and also didn't install anything, that could cause this behavior. In addition I don't even know the mentioned url and haven't found anything similar on the web.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thank you in advance! Best Regards, Philipp

i added a screenshot, how it looks like when i start Firefox.
Clear your download history. It's probably a file that was previously downloaded, and Firefox thought it failed so its trying to redownload it. This happens to me a few times, and clearing the download history fixes it.
I'm also encountering this issue. I cleared my download history as well as my history and I'm still encountering the issue. I Ran a few anti virus and anti malware scans and the scans came up with nothing. This is what it looks like. I did some research and it seems like screensharing software, which makes me suspicious.
