How could I change font for IBM 9068 A03 printer so I get better output?

more options

I am a linux user. In past I used Chrome for my browser. But a few months ago, my corporate changed our software and optimized it for using in Firefox. Unfortunately, the output printing font I got was so bad. My printer is a passbook IBM 9068 A03 with IBM Proprinter II driver, and it's no matter about font in Chrome. Can I change font in FIrefox to get better printing output? Thankyou very very much for helping.

Hello teguh,

Not a problem. Lets try to do it once again.

So you have to print many documents. right?

Lets take an example.

Suppose you want to one document of yours in Garamound and other in Times New Roman. So how do you do it? Lets answer this and I think it would help. If it doesn't you can always ask for more help.

If you want to print anything in Times New Roman, just change the page's font to Times New Roman and use print from options to print it.

Now how to change the font of the page? It turns out the pages themselves define their font in firefox so even if you have selected Times New Roman, the page still will display the font as it want to. But luckily we can override this default behaviour. Here's how?

  • From Fx menu go to options.
  • In options select Content.
  • Then click on advanced.
  • In advanced, uncheck allow pages to choose their own font, instead of my selection.
  • Click Ok
  • Now in Previous page click default font (Garamound, arial etc) and click Ok.

You'll see the UI of pages changed and now you can print the pages in your favourite font.

Hope it helps.
