why do my add-ons keep getting disabled?

ff keeps disabling add-ons that i have used for years and even keep a v. 5 to use the older add-ons and use the latest ff developer to use w/ more modern websites. ff even disables add-ons that worked perfectly well in ff developer and does not even give me the opportunity to re-enable them like i could before.

is there any way to force my old version to let ME decide what i want disabled/enabled?

I was on a teams meeting because I wanted to do a study session with someone on another country. As part of the homework I needed to do, I needed to listen to some audio. I changed my windows audio devices to output through the Communications device for the headset. Then I played the audio on a tab. The audio played for a few seconds before stopping again.

I understand that this is behaviour intended to let you take a call or meeting without having to manually pause any open tabs you might not have at hand, but I would like Firefox to understand I really want that audio to play without thinking it knows better. Is there any way to disable this behavior?

Just within the past few days, Firefox no longer allows me desktop computer access to my email account with wowway.com. However, both Chrome and Edge do. WOW's customer support person said that Firefox is causing the problem. I really like Firefox and hope that this issue can be resolved. Thank you. Clare Abt

‘I can't receive outlook mail today using Firefox. I receive message header but when I open it there's no message data. It works fine in Chrome. I can't forward a message it fails to connect to the server. When I try to delete messages it doesn't remove the item. Any suggestions?

Firefox keeps crashing randomly, sometimes at startup, and sometimes just in the middle of a session. Sometimes just one tab will crash, and other times it'll be the entire browser. I ran it in troubleshoot mode and it still crashed, so it's not caused by an extension or anything. It never used to do this before and I don't understand what's causing this issue.

All of a sudden I can't open a certain website. I opened the website a few days ago with no problem and have been using the site for years. (I checked to see if the site is down but it's not.) I googled how to unblock websites in Firefox and nothing I've tried works. I disabled Trackers for the website and I cleared my Cookies. I added the Firefox uBlock extension a few weeks ago to stop constant website popups (after I tried resetting Firefox) and I turned uBlock off for this certain website but I still can't access the website. I also installed Mozilla VPN last week. I'm using Firefox 122.0.1. What could be the problem?

I have noticed that I am unable to access the comments section on the various web sites I visit. I am sure it's a settings issue, however I have not been able to find the setting section. Any suggestions??

I'm an old school draftsman and I have been using Firefox for over 25 years. I have always had good experiences using Firefox, until a few months ago. I can't get my gmail through Firefox anymore.
