Bought a new laptop and I had my old Dell laptop transfer all my data to my new HP. My email account went thru fine. But for some unknown reason, I couldn't get my Firefox browser transferred, and I NEED to get my saved passwords from the Firefox Master Password manager.

I think I made a big mistake after data was transferred and I started setting up the HP -- (feel like I got 'tricked' into using Microsoft Edge browser) and didn't know how to get Firefox browser so could get my passwords. So unfortunately, I ended up clicking Download Firefox browser and it was a brand new browser like I was a new first-time user as it was 'blank'....like I would have to start completely over. I have been a long-time Mozilla Firefox browser user. I have been desperately and frustratingly trying to retrieve my Original Firefox Browser that has ALL my info that was so handy and easy to use.

Look at the attachment image. The 'Help' in the Firefox bar won't work anymore. I'm not able to get the Troubleshoot Mode to work.

I have many - sqlite - various addresses on my computer, can I delete these? I am being told by Microsoft that I am out of storage and I need to delete some items.

I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. I don't understand the problem. My accessing Firefox has become limited. I received a note to Upgrad to windows 11... I hae already upgraded. What must I do too have it recognised?

1/19/26 I have used Firefox for years and now it looks like Microsoft Bing has taken over and I cannot get Firefox back. It installs to a certain point and stops. Can you help me? email: [edited email from community support forum]

Your article about the expiration of Windows 10 says that anyone that has FireFox on the Release Channel doesn't have to worry, that updates will continue to support Windows 10. I don't know what that means (Release Channel). And how can I check if that's what I have?
